Canadian Center for Overseas Development (CCOD) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to creating a long-term social development, mobilizing financially disadvantaged communities in the Middle-East and the Horn of Africa to help themselves achieve people-focused sustainable development.
Founded in 2012, CCOD is completely independent and inclusive of all skills, cultures and faiths.
Its chief agenda is to be active in Health care, Education, poverty eradication, especially among women and children, and peace.
We work with people, trough local partners, to secure their basic human rights, combining support to long-term development and campaigning against the root causes of poverty.
We give children, women, families and communities the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build sustainable solutions for improving their own lives.
We hope to gain a greater understanding of how best to empower these communities.
Join us then, and plan to take part of our challenges…
